Enowa is a farmer which has engaged in rice-growing for more than 100 years. It originally introduced minerals for eco-farming. It uses 1L of minerals for eco-farming for every one-tenth hectare once every two weeks after rice-planting. By the use of minerals for eco-farming, plants take roots well with long roots and won’t easily fall down. While plants of nearby farmers are devastating due to the typhoon, our paddy fields with the use of minerals for eco-farming were undamaged.

We use minerals for eco-farming when dipping rice seeds in warm water of 32 degrees. We also use the 2L of minerals right after rice planting and half-a-month after it. By using minerals for eco-farming, plants can take roots well and stems get very thick so that a combine’s meter to measure load shows quite a large number at the time of harvest. We use less agricultural chemicals and chemical fertilizers. We have established mineral farming with the power of minerals for eco-farming in addition to nature and mineral-full of water from Ramsar Convention registered wetlands (Watarase Yusuichi). The rice is also called “Ebinu-mai”, unique and special type that we’ve grown with great care. We grow rice at a popular rice production area with food and taste analysis value of 78-80.

Mulberry tea that can reduce sugar absorption!
We manage mulberry fields focusing on pesticide-free cultivation and sprinkle minerals for eco-framing on tea leaves, and put these into a product on the day when they are harvested. The tea contains food fiber, calcium and iron sufficiently and is caffeine-free. As a characteristic of mulberry, it has a specific ingredient that reduces sugar absorption called DNJ.

This is a place which produced rice presented to the imperial family. Mr. Akimoto’s rice was dedicated to the imperial palace as a representative of Tochigi prefecture at Niiname Festival by the recommendation of the prefectural office. Minerals for eco-farming are sprinkled before sowing seeds, and twice a month after that, which amounts to 6-7 times in total. He grows rice not by planting seedlings, but by directly sowing seeds that are coated by iron in the paddy fields. He provides with rice to famous eel restaurants and pork cutlets restaurants as he withholds the name of them.

We use “salted red beans” of big grains called “Dainagon” boiled with mineral salt and server water, and Uji Maccha which continued to be purchased since the foundation. For “eggs”, we use Mineral Niwasaki Eggs from Oishi Highland, Wakayama, and for “sugar”, we use Tensai sugar which said to be natural oligosaccharide in Hokkaido and have power to warm up the body, and refreshing “milk” from Hokkaido. As such, it’s well-balanced and rich-in-taste pudding. Enjoy the sweet after turning it over on a plate.

Be familiar with and closer to agriculture!
We visited Eco Farm Wakayama, Nishikawa Noen in Wakayama for 2 years in 2015 and 2016, and harvested Kawachi Bankan (citrus) and garlics that were actually cultivated with the use of minerals for farming. By visiting the actual farmer and experiencing harvesting, not by just choosing ingredients in a grocery store, we were able to feel agriculture closer to us and study about food safety and security.

Our group with about 150 people visited the large farm!
In October, 2016, our group of 150 people (of our agents and related persons) visited Nagomi-no-Mori in Sakura, Tochigi and experienced harvesting egg plants, sweet potatoes, carrots and new gingers. The parent company of Nagomi-no-Mori is a transport company. I was touched by stories about agricultural business as the second working place for aged drivers.
